Got a lot of whatever you put in the fire in the fire— I’ve reached out to Comic Editors I know and told them I’m looking for work, I reached out to some friends in the industry and I’ve heard back from a lot to stay tuned.
The Website transition was not smooth, it’s still not, as we scramble to make this a workable replacement for the old one. It’s a work in progress, and progress shall be made!
I’m going to be at HEROES CON in North Carolina with a pocket full of business cards and many more contacts there, I’ve also got 3-4 meetings scheduled while I’m there.
Meanwhile I’m continuing on some side projects that have come in— all small, but all good ones.
I’m happy with the progress, meanwhile if you find this Freelance Re-Journey Stuff boring or depressing, I would strongly encourage you over to CJ KENNEDY’S Blog listed right there under FRIENDS for what I consider the best blog anywhere. She keeps it interesting, she keeps it fun, and she has a feature (on Thursday’s I think) where she reprints her notes from her journal during her own difficult time. Check it out.
