CATCHING UP and THINGS TO COME…

Spider-Man by my buddy, the Amazing Manix.

WOW it’s been a busy Summer and it’s only a week old. I thought I’d take a minute to catch up– some news, some rambling, usual suspects.

NEW BLOG

Eh, I don’t love WordPress but I’m getting used to it– I have to figure out how I can get that Russ Heath skeleton drawing over here because it’s been a mainstay of my blog since the days of Blogger.

FREELANCE

Those of you who followed my Freelance Drama at the end of the Spring will be happy (or sad if you were rooting for me to live in an alley) that I landed a 100+ page graphic novel that will take me through December, I’m excited about this one- it’s a story about Brother vs Brother and there will be more about it soon. Veronica and I are also on tap to do another Penguin Random House Graphic Novel– we just wrapped MISTER MAGIC which will be in stores soon enough– we’ll find out about that later this Fall.

Meanwhile we’re doing a bunch of Variant Covers, we launched a Newsletter for people who collect our art and want to follow our work a bit closer– it’s free to sign up just hit me up andy@andytfish.com with NEWSLETTER in the subject line and you’ll be added. We send it out Monthly and we give away a small piece of art to one of the subscribers each and ever month so you have a good chance of winning something.

PATREON

Everybody hates Patreon, I hate it too– but I launched one a long time ago and then put it on hiatus, this will offer you real time looks at what’s on my drawing board, twice a week check ins on top secret stuff, and membership there will start at only $1 a month– I’ll post the deets here as I finalize it.

I STILL HATE

In case you’re keeping tabs, I still hate GOOGLE, FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM and TWITTER. I’m going to try to post more on IG but that’s because I’m going to con my son who is social media savy into doing it for me.

MOM UPDATE

I mentioned on the old Blog that my Mom fell down some stairs and broke some bones. She ended up in the hospital for almost a month before being moved to rehab– and while there she got COVID and some worse even worse infections so we pulled her out and got her home as soon as we could. We arranged visiting nurses and in home care and after one week at home she’s doing better than she did after three weeks in rehab. Thanks to everyone who’s been asking about her.

That’s all I have for now, more soon, because, well, that’s what this blog does.
