One of my favorite pieces of original art– GET TO WORK by Don Picton.
For those of you following along, I am excited to be working on a 120 page graphic novel for MAKIMONO ENTERTAINMENT which will see release later this Fall.
Starting a new project is always exciting– I dive in and grab a new sketchbook where I’ll gather all my thoughts, ideas and sketches. I’ll rough out the whole plot, making sure to take note of the more important elements that have to be hit.
The preliminary work is very involved and tends to take about two weeks in itself.
More progress as I continue.
