WHAT ME WORRY?

Wow- look at this creepy AI Generated Mad Magazine Alfred E Neuman!

Worry is a condition caused by anxiety- anxiety of the unknown, generated often by a fear of the “What If…”– it’s not something to laugh at– it can be debilitating to some wreaking havoc in their lives.

I used to suffer from Worry– way back– way way back– like early Teen Years– I would even go to bed with the thought “What should I worry about?”

Insane I know, but understand people with such a condition have to live with this kind of thinking.

If you suffer from such an anxiety I would encourage you to get professional help, but maybe the path I took can help.

First, I made a list of things I was worried about and over the course of a month I revisted the list, after 30 days I wrote the outcome of each worry and soon came to realize the stuff that knocks us down is the stuff we seldom see coming. So there’s no chance to worry about it.

Second, consequently the stuff we DO worry about seldom becomes a thing, it seldom becomes reality and when and if it does what is our reaction?

We deal with it.

So start to use that like a ping pong paddle and the ball is the worry– the ball comes at you “Here’s a worry, what will you do when XX happens?”

You hit it back and say “I’ll deal with it.”
