I don’t like how this winter is shaping up. We’re watching snowfall #3 and we are still in December. Now to be fair the accumulations have been nothing– 1-3″ BUT all of them so far have had arctic cold temps with it and all include the dreaded phrase WINTRY MIX– that intones freezing rain and ice which makes it extremely difficult to drive on.

We missed our dear friends Caroling Party over in the Salisbury Street area (the 99th annual) because cars were sliding sideways down our hill and the Po Po actually blocked off the intersection at the hill base because of an accident. You can’t drive on ice. You can’t walk on ice, and shoveling it which is actually chipping it is not a ton of fun.

I just have a bad feeling, I like light and fluffy snow.
