Lobby Cards are typically 11×14 and they were used (sho nuff) to advertise upcoming films in the Lobby of your local Cinema back when Cinema’s were actually a thing. Lobby Cards allowed you to show more images from your short subjects or features since they were smaller than your larger one sheet posters.
The Lobby Cards would allow you to also show the short subjects you were going to show with your main feature.
FABULOUS FICTION BOOKSTORE had a great video rental shop in the basement of their store and they would pepper the walls with great old lobby cards like these– and best of all they would have extra copies for sale if you wanted to decorate your own walls. You can bet I did!
