CONVENTION REPORT OAX 2025 - PART THREE

The Final Day of the Show was Sunday— normally for most shows Sunday is a ghost town, and while it was quieter we still did some sales, some interviews and even some free sketches during the free promotion time at the show— it’s a fun event where you can bring your sketchbook or sketch cards around and grab some quick original art.

The Staff at OAX is incredible, and they load the weekend with fun— there was an auction on Saturday night which we both had pieces in but we couldn’t attend because of the birthday dinner— and something called a box break battle— I really wanted to find out what that was but the show was just too busy.

Sunday night we wrapped up, checked out of the hotel and headed over to our Port Orleans hotel for a few days of R&R mixed in with a couple of Tax Attorney meetings to kick of tax season (yay!).
Overall another fantastic show— their inaugural show last year was going to be hard to top but they managed to do it.

CAF (Comic Art Fans) is a tight knit community and it really feels like a family— we will participate in the online CAF show in May so I’ll be promoting that right here on the blog.
