
Halloween is the last bastion of hope we have before Winter is upon us. Like Summer, it comes and goes too soon, and then we’re in the 600 days of winter mode, shoveling, de icing etc. When it snows before Halloween that’s the sign of some higher power really giving us an eye poke.
No snow this year, and I’ve decided to keep Halloween alive– if not outwardly then in spirit. I’ll keep watching classic, cult and really dumb horror movies for all of November because I can’t even think about Christmas until after Thanksgiving.
And here’s hoping for a mild winter again.
