Next week it’s San Diego Comic Con– so in “celebration” of it I’m going to post a three part series on ordering an original art commission, and then I’m going to run what I consider one of the very best Batman Stories ever done.
San Diego is possibly the hardest convention to get into– tickets are very expensive if you can find them, and the show itself is huge, the entire city area around the convention center becomes the epicenter of everything comics and pop culture.
They build rides outside the convention center based on TV Series like JACK RYAN or 24. They show superhero movies on TV, the local restaurants will give specials all comic related, there is no other show like it– but it’s not the best “comic” convention of the year, that honor goes to HEROES CON which ran in June and is solely focused on comic books, comic art and comic creators.
But in honor of THE Show of the year, we celebrate next week.
