I'm speaking at BU tonight on the subject of graphic novels-- it's not a public event but it's nice to know that the genre of graphic novels is getting the proper respect from our institutions of higher learning.

The course is an interesting one-- examining how and why graphic novels are so effective at handling material that can be sometimes difficult-- like with MAUS and it's handling of the Holocaust.
