RIP DWAYNE McDUFFIE

I got home from Emerson last night and got word from a friend that Dwayne McDuffie had died-- I'm still kind of stunned by it.  Dwayne was one of the guys I would look forward to hanging out with at the DC Freelancer room when I was in New York, and he and I did a couple of cons together.

He was looking forward to the release of his animated adaption of ALL STAR SUPERMAN to hit stores-- and with the cruelist of ironies he died the very day it came out.

Dwayne was strong willed and dedicated to his craft.  A great guy who will be sorely missed.
