I was driving through a town near me and I happened to notice a business sign with a familiar name— it’s a company that produces horror themed and halloween items. Years ago I did some freelance for Ben Cooper Industries who is the company that used to make those great Halloween Costumes with the plastic masks and the flame proof suits that all of us wore. Could this company possibly be this other Halloween Themed company that I not only knew but have bought from in the past?

A quick google search revealed that they were indeed— so I emailed the contact person and mentioned I’ve done freelance with a rival before, my email asked if they work with in-house art teams or if they pull from freelancers too. Made a note to follow up if I don’t hear back.

I’ve taken several commissions from the CAF Live Show last month— been busy getting those finished up and in the mail.

I’m also finishing up final art for our upcoming Penguin Random House book release.
